The router was used and returned - it had an LPN number on the packaging

I mainly bought this for 2.5gbps port, WAN aggregation (1+1gbps) and Wifi6. Asuswrt is probably one of the most flexible firmware out there. Wifi 6 is packed with modern wifi tech which is totally worth it if youre located in an apartment complex because so much wifi signal is roaming around. The traffic monitor is also excellent, allowing me to narrow down bandwidth hogging devices with ease. My only regret is not upgrading to Wifi 6 sooner. I cant believe how much I was missing out in terms of speed and stability. 5/5 stars.

Great range through three floors and 3000 SF house. I’ve only seen one bar drop from the farthest part of the house. The setup was easy and the interface is user friendly. Highly recommended!

Good router, easy and fast to install, very nice interface in the phone app. Big trouble for me : my old toshiba laptop don t detect my wifi network and it s bad. I tried everything. There s a incompatibility between the two. All others tech in my house detected it immediatly. So it s a good choice. You can press an on and off power button. I like this more than to always unplug it.

Out of the box, there were a considerable number of devices that didnt interface well with this router. Surprisingly, it was my WIFI 6 enabled devices that were having problems, include my Intel Wifi NIC with the latest drivers from Intel. It was interfering with my sound bar... which uses a wireless subwoofer... something my older ASUS router didnt have problems with. And even when my WIFI 6 devices were behaving, the speeds were hit and miss. Sometimes large file transfers were insanely fast, and other random times I would precipitously drop to 802.11N speeds or lower. This was bizarre, but sometimes when I had large wireless transfers, my wired connects would suffer.

I bought this to replace what I thought was a non-functioning ASUS router. I installed this new router, and all I can say is wow! The coverage and speed throughout my home was superior to my previous ASUS router. I defaulted my old ASUS Router, and converted it to an AI mesh node and now have full signal with extremely fast speed throughout my home as well as my backyard and in front of my house. My neighbor came over and told me that he was picking up my signal even better than his own.

Bought this to replace my older AC3100 as the 5ghz was crapping out so it was time to upgrade (warranty being over as well).

Got the expensive router figuring I get what I pay for. Was I wrong. So works great on ethernet and 5g but the 2g device would all drop. After trying to deal with it i finaly fixed the wifi dropping issue. What I did is plugged in my old router to this one and changed the gateway IP on the old router to that the two did not match. Then I put all my 2g only devices on the old router. Now nothing drops. You would think for the price that at least tech support would suggest that.
