Immediate buyers remorse after buying an AX-88 and AX-58 to setup AIMesh with an Ethernet backhaul. The mesh node keeps going offline. The clients will often fail to connect on 5GHz when everything is working. No customer support. Should have bought eero. This company doesnt appear to stand behind this product. Known issue with AIMesh reported on the forums with no resolution. Last Asus networking product im ever buying.

So far so good. I originally had the AC3100 version and the 2.4ghz signal died like many others mentioned. I took a gamble and upgraded to the AX version based on the additional capabilities (speed oh my) and I loved the ASUS interface (I use the stock version, not Merlin). I also love the trend net security that is built in. It really helps the non cyber security nerds keep their network secure. Highly recommend this!

I have had my ASUS RT-AX88U for 5 months and it suddenly died... It wont turn on. The ASUS solution is for me to return the unit to them to repair and they will then return it to me. 1-2 weeks later. I receive my TV service through the router, my telephone service, two tablets, two computers, print service and a netwark attached service and several streaming services so I ask, is the ASUS an acceptable solution? Is this incredible as they advertise?

I am really enjoying this router. I chose this router because it is one of the few that had more than 4 ethernet ports. I have not been disappointed. The installation was relatively pain free and I was up and running in short order. The instructions could be a little more intuitive, but I was able to navigate the issues. It was a bit pricing, but definitely worth it for me. It you need a lot of ports, this is your unit. I addition, its wireless coverage is a larger area than my older unit. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Awesome WIFI 6 router. Easy to setup. 730 MB down, 57 MB up wireless with Note 10. 980 MB down plugged in Ethernet.

Ive had this for a bit now and it has proven the test of time where others had failed. The setup is super simple. I have a bit of network experience but when it comes to routers, this one made it a breeze. I was able to set up different logins for my tenant and havent had any problems yet. This is well worth the money for what you get.

Ive had good luck with Asus for many years now and this latest router is just more of the same. It does the job brilliantly and is smoking fast.

I replaced a brand new netgear wi-fi 6 with Asus because it kept shutting down.
