Its a basic set up so dont expect too much. Have to say the screen resolution is barely manageable but again, you get what you pay for. For the rice, its still a good option. You wont wow any of your friends or colleagues with it but it will generally get you where you need to be. Keep your expectations realistic and you will be OK with this.

After charging the battery and following set-up instructions, the computer froze five times during initial set-up. After the last freeze/reboot cycle, the computer wouldnt even power up. I returned it. The return label I was given was not prepaid. So, I was sold a junk computer and had to pay $30 to get rid of it.

Bought this Chromebook for my daughter for school and it died before the school year ended. It wont charge or boot up even when its plugged in. Ive tried contacting ASUS and got a service case # but Ive received no response. Now I have to decide if its worth paying to repair it myself or just throw it out.

If all you need is a computer to surf the net, check emails, and word process, you cant beat this. Its great for travel because its light as a feather and very thin; very convenient. I just hope it lasts longer than my last one, which quit working after 6 months. So far, though, this one works like a champ!

Great little laptop. The screen isnt as clear as I thought. But its faster than I thought it would be. I like the feel of the laptop, its light and feels sturdy. Its a good laptop for the price.

It does not work

We bought this for our 5 year old grandson. His school specified what to buy. We are very happy with it so far. It was easy to set up and get class material for a 5 year old.

This does not have Windows 10 as advertised.

Unless you’re used to using one of these laptops of this friend, I would stick with a Windows or Apple product

It is simple enough that they cant easily break it. They do have problems with wireless connection stability, I dont know if that is related to the laptop or the access point. Hard to diagnose during a pandemic.
