This is the only paste i use now. Works great on CPUs, GPUs, Ram and MOSFETs . I would also like to add that anyone saying AS 5 can/will damage a cpu etc because of conductance or capacitance is misinformed, being i have seen quite a few cpus, gpus and sockets that were just smothered in AS 5 like some one used the whole tube and there was no issue other then clean up and re-apply correctly. I would recommend the 12 gram tube if you deal with electronics at all. Best deal as well.

Okay, so I dont really have a cloud server. The other day I noticed there was a load of dust in my CPUs heat sink, so I detached it and cleaned it out. I did not realize that breaking the thermal compound by taking it off would be bad. Now I know. I did a temporary home remedy (not recommended) until this came. On the front of my tower it shows the temperature measured in the heat sink. After applying this (after cleaning off the home remedy) the temperature in the heat sink went up, which I take to mean that it is doing a better job of wicking heat away from the CPU. Either way Im glad I can use my computer.

Went On in a snap expected the stick to be bigger but then again ive never used these things physically before but worked just fine :) would recommend this to other people

Been using this Thermal Compound for years on many custom built rigs, never had issues and works wonders with temperatures. Knock off a star for value as the price seems to fluctuate to much.

I bought this because of the great reviews. My desk top computers fan was working very hard and I could hear it all of the time. Opening the computer I found the fan and heatsinks were full of dust. I pulled the fan out to clean and reinstalling it I needed to replace the old thermal paste. So, I cleaned the old dried out paste completely, added this new thermal paste, put it back together and my computer is as quiet as it was new! When doing this I grounded myself to prevent any electrical static. I did NOT use a vacuum cleaner inside. Vacuums can also cause static electricity. I was careful and took my time and noted which screws go where.

It works as expected, no heating issues when used for a mobile Core i5 running video rendering.

This does its job perfectly. I went form CPU temps of over 95 C to actually functioning within desired parameters.

Ive repaired hundreds of PCs for my customers and when replacing the CPU or just the heat sink, youve got to replace the grease compound. After an alcohol cleaning, I spread a very thin application of Artic Silver 5 over the heat sink area and the CPU. This will provide a good heat transfer from the CPU to the heat sink, preserving youre CPU. I do recommend this product for this purpose.
