My cpu fan was running 24/7 regardless of what I was doing on my PC. Put this stuff on and now it only runs with 1+ hour gaming.

I did not have this paste for my old CPU and after lots of 1080P video rendering, it basically burnt up/melted into oblivion. You could actually smell the burnt silicon, whoops! I used this thermal paste with my new i7-4770K and it actually runs 20 degrees cooler than my old i7-950, even under full load while rendering the same 1080P video at twice the speed. Very inexpensive part that can ensure a lot of extra life for your CPU/mobo.

Cooled my CPU around 7 degrees vs. the paste that came with the actual CPU cooler. Enough in the tube for at least 10 applications. Good deal!

This is kind of a boring product, you smear it on your components, smoosh them together, and rarely see it again, nothing happens. The syringe dispenser looks like it could carry an element of danger, but ultimately the worst it can do is leave grey glop on your fingertips. I guess that exciting thermal goop would be something that failed and made components explode in a shower of sparks and iridescent fumes, but after the novelty wore off it would get expensive and tedious to replace parts. Ive never been able achieve this effect when using Arctic Silver, but it does a good job of keeping my machines cooled so Ill begrudgingly forgive the mundanity.

This paste came highly recommended by other PCs users I know. It was clearly superior to the default paste that came with my new cooler - definitely worth the extra cost for the peace of mind.
