Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

First off, I have to say that I am giving it four stars because mine did not come with a scraper nor a clean wipe. I bought this solely to repair my ylod PS3, and it worked. The original thermal paste on the ps3 was white and this is black, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I probably used about half of the tube. If you have a ylod ps3, youtube gilskys guide. He shows you how to take it apart, apply/fix the thermal paste and put it back together. It did last for a week *with a few hours run time).

Its arctic silver 5, enough said.

Did the job. Purchased because it is pretty much regarded as the standard by people who use this stuff on a regular basis. Seems a bit expensive for what it is.

Any sort of electronic repair I do that requires thermal paste I always use this product... it a dab will do ya type of paste and really does the job

This stuff is great! Had a cooling problem with my 3.4ghz dual core Intel CPU, replaced the thermal compound with Arctic Silver 5, and realized an immediate 20 degree drop in cpu temperature! Even after some serious computing, several hundred hours later, the temp stays well with in the safe zone! The Intel Desktop Utilities temperature alarm has not gone off since using this! All is as cool as a mid-winter day!

Ive used this kind before, & this was as a back up, in the event the paste that comes on the cooler, gets ruined. Im not sure of the shelf life.

I love this thermal paste. I have used it in all of the pc’s I have built.
