> 24 hourOne of my desktops was shutting off suddenly and I remembered I had been a bit stingy with the thermal paste six or seven ago when I put it together. A nice pea-sized squirt of this between the CPU and the heatsink, spreading it out with the mini putty knives (never seen those before) and I was back in business.

> 24 hourMy CPU was overheating, pulled it apart and removed the old heatsink and put this on in its place. Have not had anymore overheating issues. Would buy again. The old heatsink was several years old.

> 24 hourDeliberately chose the MX-4 vs the MX-5 or many others after having previously used Arctic Silver 5 exclusively for the last ~15 years. MX-4 isnt the cheapest, nor the one that provides the best cooling, but it is one of the lower cost options and is only marginally less efficient at cooling. The Noctua NH-1/NH-2 is very similar, and while I havent used, it, its probably a good choice too.

> 24 hourMust have to cool your CPU. Reliable, good price, and provides excellent results.

> 24 hourI am not quite sure how else to review this … it is not like I am going to disassemble the PC to swap out the thermal paste and try different brands to note any possible differences. The fact is that it was easy to apply, and it seems to be doing the trick. That is enough for me. If I had to complain about anything... perhaps the cost? I suppose this is just one of those things where only time will tell...

> 24 hourI would not recommend this thermal paste....my computer kept crashing, BSOD, games freezing....only after I took apart my CPU/GPU I discovered the paste like a fluid/water...parts of the CPU/GPU was not covered and thus overheating....AVOID!

> 24 hourThis compound brought the temps in my mini PCs down a good bit compared to the factory compound. And when I say good bit I mean anywhere from 10°C to 25°C. Its easy to spread and is non curing. Its also not electrically conductive, which is very important for a couple of my mini PCs because of the type of CPU and heatsink used. I wish I had found this sooner, as its much better than the Arctic Silver 5 I used to use.

> 24 hourNothing to crazy to really talk about. Good brand. Spread easy. It did exactly what I needed it to. I replaced the factory thermal paste in my gen. one PS4. My PS4 no longer sounds like a jet taking off anymore!
