> 3 dayHad issues with thermal throttling on my Dell XPS 13 9360 with the i7-7500u that I use as my daily for work... noticed anytime I would do a heavy load the CPU temp would hit the max 100c (like on MS teams meetings) and then drop my turbo boost speed from 3.494 to 2.5-2.7ish... so i bought this paste..popped open the back of the laptop and cleaned of the CPU and heat pipe (there was also a bit of dust build up by the exhaust fan) cleaned that out. Added this stuff on the heatsink/pipe and a thermal pad by the exhaust fan.....low and behold!!!..under the same load the CPU temp only hit 91c instead of maxing out. Totally worth it for a cheap performance upgrade on an older productivity XPS 13 (not that old 2016).. fun fun. Oh..and my cinebench R20 score went from 739 multi thread to 819.... :)
