> 3 dayI did a bad thing and wasnt paying attention to my monitor was and whacked it with something. I panicked since Ive only had the monitor for less than a year. I looked into the AOC warranty and found that they offered a one-time free replacement within the first year of purchase. I didnt believe this would be true, but I filed the warranty claim anyways. It took forever for someone to get back to me (I also had to call three times), but I was finally issued a RMA number. I had two options: give them a credit card so they could put a temporary hold on it. This would allow me to receive a new unit before returning the old one, and the hold would be removed once they received the defective unit. The second option was for them to supply a return label and I return the unit, the standard replacement process. I chose option number 2. Today I received my tracking number for my replacement monitor. At no cost.

> 3 dayFor me, its LG then everything else as it relates to quality. PC Monitors are just terrible. Im not saying that PC Monitors can barely be made out, but it just really sad that out of all the budget monitors, this is probably the best. Now Im not saying that there arent any 4k monitors are good, but really 1440p monitors w/high refresh monitors are really gaming monitors. 1440p is highly efficient with high refresh rate. To me if youre going 4K, you really need to get an LG monitor. Getting a 4K LCD really doesnt make sense. So since I dont have OLED LG money right now, Im going for the 1440p ultra wide. I make and build content for youtube on transformational gaming. So Ultra wide is what Im looking for. Sadly, this is the best 1440p wide monitor there is as far as budget. This has a high refresh rate and all the bells and whistles with gSync. But the bad news is that the color and picture are terrible. And when I say terrible I mean compared to OLED. I have the CX 65 inch in my living room. When I come back to this monitor, it just looks that much worse. I wish they can do updates to this tv like the LG. Im sure there are some calibration they can do to make it better. But wow... if you want a wide screen with high refresh rates at 1440, you have to settles for this monitor. You can go for a 2400x1440 if you play games but again I need ultra wide at 3440x1440p for content creation. So eventually Im going to get a 4K OLED monitor but right now to me its this one that has everything I need and its the only brand that has it. So its almost like a monopoly at least at this price point. Ill make a video about this product soon. Lastly, if youre moving from one place to another, my advice is to keep the box that it came with and put the monitor back in the box while moving. Anything else and youre going to end like me and have to replace it. Thats right, this thing cracks like an egg. Ill talk about this more on the channel.

Greater than one weekI really like how large the screen is and only one monitor on my desktop is enough.

27-09-2024Everything about this monitor is great so far. I have had it for almost 1 year and it has not had any issues at all. Picture quality is amazing. Refresh rate is perfect for PC gaming. I have a 3060 graphics card and no problems.

> 3 dayNice middle of the line monitor. It works as it should. I don’t use it 8 hours a day so it should last a while

> 3 dayFirst, I own a total of 3 of these monitors (C32G1, C32G2, and now the CQ32G2S), and the CQ32G2S is dimmer for some reason. I have played with the settings, but there is a noticeable difference between the CQ32G2S and the C32G2 in brightness. These are attached to monitor arms and sit less than a foot apart from each other. and you can see a very clear difference. I also cant get it above a 143.91 Hz refresh rate, yet the C32G2, could. Same laptop, everything. I used advice from another post and adjusted C32G2 to set low latency to on, game color to 12, brightness to 100 contrast to 60, and gamma to gamma 3. Ill keep playing with it must so far, not liking this new one.

Greater than one weekI purchased this monitor about a year and a half ago, and recently noticed I had one pixel stuck on blue all the time. I submitted a warranty claim under their 3-year zero dead pixel policy and my replacement arrived within about a week and a half, no issues at all. Very happy with the monitor. If I had to make a complaint, it would, as usual for monitors, be the on-screen display, which is not intuitive. Other than that, it has a beautiful picture and has replaced two smaller monitors.
