> 3 dayIve been using the monitor for a couple of months now. So far, everything is working fine. But I use it for work and not gaming. Not sure whether that makes any difference or not. My only pet peeve is that the monitor does not support split screen where one can view images from both HDMI inputs. Another one is that it is not easy to switch inputs. Especially since you cannot see the buttons on account of them being under the bezel. And while there are marks at the bottom of the bezel to denote the different buttons, they are not easy to see as theyre engraved without any color difference. So its basically black on black. But overall, its a nice monitor. Its pretty bright and provides good image contrast.

> 3 dayUpdated review: The rest of the review stands, but I noticed today how badly the backlight bleeds and had to post an update and an image...knocked off one star from 4 to 3, considered knocking it down to 2. While the pic was taken with a totally black screen in a dark room for illustrative purposes, I noticed this while watching a dark Youtube video in normal lighting conditions, so it is noticable during regular use. For the price, its a good enough monitor, but its a little too dim, and black levels arent great. If the brightness and contrast were maybe 10% better it would look great. Also, the controls and on screen menu interface are straight out of 2004. I realize you have to cut corners to hit this price point, but still, for $400 youd think they could have spared another couple dollars for a better OSD controller. My $150 LG has an easy to use joystick control, so its a bummer to have to fiddle with four different buttons.

Greater than one weekOkay i will take just a minute to review the whole thing. So straight to the point. Nice OK monitor for movie and content creation. Amazing for gaming. The curve is nice. Not too power hungry. BUT, navigation throughout the menu is real pain. It’s a nightmare to me to increase/reduce the brightness of the monitor because of very bad switch position. 7/10

> 3 dayI really like how large the screen is and only one monitor on my desktop is enough.

> 3 dayThe AOC CU34G3S looks fantastic - vibrant colors and deep black tones on this Samsung-manufactured panel. The curve was too much at first but I got used to it and now love it. The extra screen real-estate is perfect for work and immersive gaming. I also like that all the monitor settings can be controlled from the AOC G-Menu software, and profile presets can apply to individual programs. But unfortunately there is a black screen flicker with FreeSync. Ive tried limiting frames and the black-screening persists. The issue is not present with FreeSync off, but that causes another issue: screen tearing and flickering horizontal lines. Not sure if I just received a bad unit, but its really unfortunate because I did want to like this monitor due to its wide gamut and color accuracy. There is also a dead pixel on the right-middle of the screen (despite the zero bright/dead pixel guarantee). Ordered a second one and will update my review if these issues are resolved with the replacement. Update: Replacement resolved the above issues. I do recommend this monitor. No issues from the past couple weeks I’ve used it.

> 3 dayI was disappointed because there is no remote. You have to turn it on by pushing a button underneath the monitor. I guess I thought it would be more like my TV monitor. The instructions are in many different languages and theres not much instruction on how to operate this monitor. I am having to figure it out on my own. Im 70! Technology is harder for us older people and they dont make these instructions easy. PRINT was small and hard to read as well. But on a positive note, the monitor looks good, and the picture is great. Good color.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor about a year and a half ago, and recently noticed I had one pixel stuck on blue all the time. I submitted a warranty claim under their 3-year zero dead pixel policy and my replacement arrived within about a week and a half, no issues at all. Very happy with the monitor. If I had to make a complaint, it would, as usual for monitors, be the on-screen display, which is not intuitive. Other than that, it has a beautiful picture and has replaced two smaller monitors.

Greater than one weekI use this as a home office monitor, driven by a Nvidia 1060 video card, and do a fair amount of getting killed in Fortnite. The monitor is great, but there seems to be a visible distance between the LCD shutters and the backlight, where I can see the icons move around and the edge of the screen. Its only distracting in some Windows apps and only when Im looking for it. Overall Im happy.
