Hooked this monitor up to my laptop, and the settings via HDMI were right on. NO adjustments, no dead pixels, no distortion, so nothing but a great looking monitor display. I put 4 or more windows up and can easily see all of them. the CURVE is perfect for viewing. The base is BIG, but as a SECOND 34 inch monitor on my desk, it just slides right in there on the left, and the height adjustment matches perfectly. Now I can put my remote desktop on one monitor on the left and on the right is my work displays. It does take a bit getting used to the 3440x1440 as the font is a bit small (by default), but that is the benefit of this wide screen. Overall, I am amazed at what it looks like and I have been told that AOC just keeps on running, with very few issues. My first one is still running like a CHAMP. I would recommend anyone to at least get one. If you have the desk space, do two. For the Gaming one at 165MHZ i havent tried it yet, BUT it has USB 3.x connectors. A definite PLUS for charging, and plugging in the other items I have on the desk.

Does everything advertised. Instruction manual in several languages but lacks content. Monitor is bright colors are vivid. Have not seen any dead pixels yet. Recommend the product a great monitor for the price.

My son and I are getting into PC gaming and I looked around for monitors and was a little shocked by how much people are willing to spend. I stumbled on the 32 model and its been great. Many of the reviews talk about needing to fine tune the picture when setting up, but I didnt find that necessary at all. Theyre probably hardcore gamers. In any event, if you dont have a grand to drop on a monitor you cant go wrong with this one.

Needing a replacement for my damaged ultrawide monitor, I picked this one as a step up. Its NOT full 4K, but given the 1)size, 2) curve, 3) relative price, this monitor seemed like a good value. Also, I have owned AOC (not the Congressperson) products before, so I was not expecting to be blown away or anything, and to have some complaints, but also I was expecting something that did the thing it was supposed to do. Quick takes: 1) Not an ultra-precise display for color or all viewing angles (I mean, if you need ULTRA perfect), but if youre looking for that, you wouldnt consider this price-point anyway 2) 100% great for general desktop use and gaming-- sitting at the center, color and brightness are uniform from edge-to-edge, and normally-imperceptible color variation from top-to-bottom (you will see it with some colors during a manual calibration, but not normally otherwise) 3) Be prepared to make a lot of adjustments to the monitors settings in order to get the picture where you want it-- AOC does themselves a disservice shipping it the way its set, as many out-of-the-box users are going to be confused and disappointed, I expect. So, out of the box, the monitor is pretty substantial-- it has a heft and build quality Im used to seeing in more expensive monitors. Setup is as easy as youd expect for any monitor these days. I used DisplayPort, but the monitor also has HDMI inputs also. Right away, though, I could see something was off about the monitors settings, which isnt a huge deal, because you can just change the settings, right? Well, yes, but... this monitor insists on having the MOST HORRIFIC combo of on-screen display and small, identical-feeling, hidden control buttons. Getting around the OSD menu is a nightmare of accidentally exiting menus, turning the monitor off, and paranoia about pressing the wrong buttons. One thing, right off the bat, that was extra-confusing is that (despite what some of the listing info says above this monitor DOES have HDR). However, turning it on in Windows immediately makes the picture entirely washed out, giving me a new starting point to calibrate and to question the sanity/value of HDR (honestly, with it turned on in Windows and on the monitor, I cant see a big difference, but just some odd behavior in games sometimes.. not even sure why). Im not a pro at calibration, but I get the basics and, walking through some online manual (as in, by-hand) calibrations, I both learned a lot about the display, and got the picture to a decent place-- its annoying the default settings didnt start closer. I was able to get it to a place I like-- others have said things about the brightness, but Ive had no issue-- Ive had to turn my brightness down a bit to get it to a comfortable place. Anyway, I recommend it, just know what youre getting into.

Decided to go with the older AOC G2 unit rather than the new G3 unit. G2 unit can run up to 144mhz. fast enough. Video card only does 100mhz. Didnt the 165mhz that the G3 does. Plus didnt need the speakers and usb hub. Rather spend the money on what I will use. Also the G2 unit had a better review average with way more samples. Very pleased with the AOX G2 monitor at this time. Two months into usage. Definitely way better than my 24inch Asus flat screen. Would purchase again

I purchased this in June of 2020 and it took until the beginning of August to receive it (stock issues). The monitor is spectacular and helps me play any game I want and the picture is crisp. I see no blur at all on anything I play on it. The monitor is really top of the line even if the warranty service is not that great. Why 3.5 stars - At 7 months the monitor picture went completely dead, couldnt even see the monitors display settings. Calling them at first was hard to get someone on the phone, I would call and after 15 minutes of holding it went to a machine where I never got a call back. I used their online form to contact them and finally got someone to help asking for pictures and information, I sent everything within 30 minutes. Called them back a few days later after not hearing anything and finally got someone on the phone. They explained to me that they had not received my information (although I had replied directly to the email). I sent the information again and still they didnt get it. They had to send me another email (from the same email I replied to) so I could send the information again for a third time, they finally got it. This whole situation took 6 days. From there it was was me calling to hound them over and over until I finally got an RMA 8 days later. Once I got the RMA I thought I would have my new monitor within the week, wrong. The entire thing took a total of 24 days to finally get the new monitor. This would have been much worse if I wasnt calling them every other day to keep on them. This to me is a horrible experience especially since I had to use my old monitor and go from 3440x1440 back to 1920x1080 and a smaller screen. Made gaming and work more difficult.

While I am not much a gamer, I do appreciate a good display, especially a moving one. Getting into 3440x1440@144Hz has been a whole new ball game of getting the right ports, right cables along with KVM switches and cheap usb-c hubs (and even pricer ones) that cant pull those specs, that came as surprise. I ended up connecting my Lenovo X1 Extreme (Gen 1) with a usb-c to display port cable, plugged directly into the laptop usb-c port which got me all 144Hz. Coming from a 16:9 1080p @ 60 Hz monitor, this is night and day, so much more real estate (more then double the pixels) and so much smoother. The game I did play with this monitor was buying it. I got one for $449 in July 2020. It seems that when amazon is the seller they where selling for either $439 or $449. However they where rarely in stock. Due to value of this monitor 3rd party sellers seem to be in stock since they are selling with their best prices around $560-$580. Even saw a used one go up in the high $400s and get snatched within hours. For me once I decided to go with this monitor I just kept a tab open on my browser, hit refresh thought the day (once every 30min-1hr), be ready to hit that buy now button when the price drops it will not last long. On one of those price drops I paused to long and the stock was gone by the time I hit the Buy It Now button. When it say hurry only 3 left in stock they are not kidding. I eventually got it caught the price drop on another day, smashed the buy it now button, 2 days later I was in business.

I have two computers hooked up to it,one for gaming the other for business. Monitor works very well for both and its price is outstanding.

I purchased 3 of these monitors to use for sim racing. After setting them up in surround mode and running a racing simulator they perform very well. They are also a good looking monitor. However....the title stating they are frameless is HIGHLY inaccurate. There is a noticable black edge that runs around the screen where there is no picture. Yes the bezel is very thin, hence why I purchased 3 of them. However a quarter inch area of screen along the edges that displays no picture is pointless! I have messed with all my settings and even hooked up just one single monitor and yet the picture does not go right to the bezel like advertised. I also cant get above 45 FPS on them. Not my system because I was getting 160fps on a big screen tv. Probably going to return them for something different.

Needed this as an external monitor for my MacBook Pro and it works very well. Colors are great and no light bleeding on the edges with is even better. I haven’t had any lag issues either. As of right now, I’d give this monitor 5 stars and will update if anything changes. If you’re looking for an external monitor for your Mac this one is excellent. I looked at a ton before making the decision to purchase this one. Glad I spent just a little bit more to ensure there weren’t any issues.
