I really love this monitor with low input delay and high frames per second but I don’t know why my speakers aren’t working can someone please help fix this problem.

Bought this monitor to accompany my new entry level pc I built. This monitor is great for anyone looking for great performance on a budget! All specs are accurate and the design is sleek and looks great!

I very seldom bother to review purchases, but I want to take to the time for this one. I use the monitor for gaming and photo editing. Compared to my older 1080 monitor, the colors are so rich and vivid - I had no idea what I was missing. I went into the menu and changed only one adjustment (maybe luminance) and that was it. This was my first curved monitor, and it was a shock at first. But I soon came to appreciate the wide viewing angle. I can sit or stand in front or off the side and the screen is still sharp. I would have to sit too far away from a 32-inch monitor; 27 inches is just right sitting 30 inches from the screen.

Things you should know: - This monitor does have great picture quality, if you haven’t move up in resolution or hertz this will be a nice improvement. You will need to adjust brightness settings when you first set it up, but overall it’s got a smooth and clean color scheme. - There is a little bit of screen bleeding around the edges of the monitor (lightness during black screens when the monitor is on) nothing noticeable during games, maybe more so with movies or cinematics. - Sturdy mount with a decent range of motion for adjustments, slim bezels as well, clean look for both the monitor and stand. - Haven’t tested out the speakers out yet, but if you’re using this for gaming you’ll have a headset on the majority of the time. Overall 86/100 Great product, one of the cheapest I’ve seen with this product quality.

A great monitor for its price, would highly recommend to everyone. However, it is important to note that because of the VA panel there is slight ghosting. Not a huge issue as you can tweak some settings to lessen it, but still noticeable in fast paced FPS games.

This monitors attributes come together to make it what I think is the best gaming monitor on the market. Low motion blur (which is amazing), 144hz, 1ms response time, good quality picture and 2k. The best part of it being the low motion blur, its hard to find 1ms 144hz monitors with low motion blur, and it makes gaming on this better than any monitor Ive used. The world of gaming monitors is confusing and the price of a monitor doesnt equal the quality, but to put it simply, if anything, this monitor is massively under-priced.

Putting it together was no problem and very well made. Although, when I turned it on the display it was pixelated, words on the screen looked bigger and thicker, circles werent circles. The easiest fix was to either turn the monitor off and back on or run Windows ClearType.

On the AOC website, they claim the CQ27G3S has a response time of 1ms MPRT and 4ms GtG. I didnt believe the 4ms gtg would be such a big hit on the monitors ability to control ghosting, but darker scenes have a lot more noticeable ghosting. I tested ghosting using ufo test, so not really gaming environment, but it gives an idea on how the monitor reacts to certain scenes. Bright scenes are quite tame with almost no ghosting, while the darkest scene has the most noticeable. Overdrive setting on strong seems to lessen the length of the trail. Its not unplayable and for a VA panel, I didnt expect much. 7/10 165hz refresh rate is very nice because it allows for more smoother gameplay. I switched from a 60hz 4k to a 165hz 2k and the difference is huge. The quality of the image is about the same unless youre staring right at a single pixel looking for it. The only problem with the refresh rate is that 165hz is unstable. The actual monitor refresh rate fluctuates between 165hz and 160hz. It doesnt affect performance, however, its still a bit misleading. It is most stable at 144hz and does just as good. If you needed exactly 165hz for some reason, this monitor is not the best. The pixel density is very high for a small screen so the images are really clear. Anything above 28 for a 1440p/2k monitor is going to be poor. Coming from 4k 28 to 2k 27 there isnt much difference in image quality. Especially if you upscale resolution in games, its basically the same picture. 8/10 The colors also needed some work to get it perfect. There are three ways to make the screen brighter: brightness, contrast, and rgb settings. If you raise all of the rgb equally, the brightness also increases. Too high of a contrast will raise brightness, but also make all of the colors look weird. Adjust to your own preference. There is little to no back bleed. Only the slightest grey patch in the upper right corner, but unless youre in a completely dark room with a black screen playing, its completely unnoticeable. 9/10 The OSD menu is poorly developed. Modifying certain menu items will modify other related items, understandably so, however, it doesnt revert back to default. Which means if you have a good set up and modify your settings to experiment, you will lose your previous set up. Maybe not that big of a deal, but a peeve of mine. I wish it doesnt save until you hit a separate button to save. For now, it gets the job done, but if I ever wanted to change something, I would lose all my previous settings which is very unfortunate. 7/10 Its 2k at 27, 144hz stable refresh, curved VA, and affordable with a 4 year warranty against any manufacturer defect(dont quote me). Very much a worthy buy. 8/10

I was able to get the monitor on sale for $150. Great monitor for the price. Colors are vivid and getting 144-165 fps is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade without breaking the bank like I was.

Its a really nice screen for the price. I like the way you can move it vertically and horizontally at any time. Picture is awesome I recommend.
