Tried another brand that was cheaper and rightfully so, they did not work, I had this product and loved it then when I wanted a couple more went with a price and company at about 1/2 price, not a good deal since they were dead and did to work out of the box. I also like the indicator light when they are connected. Recommended product.

I use these USB-C to USB adapters with my 16 MacBook Pro. Materials and build quality of the adapters seem very good. Function has been perfect so far. My last brand name USB-C to USB Adapter put out a lot of heat. These stay cool with the exact same USB peripherals. Im definitely satisfied and I will buy some more..cant believe I waited so long to pull the trigger on these.

Idk why with so much legacy devices manufacturers cant put a couple of type A ports on laptops any more dont get me started on the lack on LAN ports.

For some reason, Apple decided to do away with USB ports on their laptops and only offer USB-C, so I needed an adapter. This little one from ANKER is a great size. No problems with it at all, though I would highly recommend removing it if you are transporting it.
