Amazing processor for the price that you can get it at now. If youre not a hardcore gamer that needs that extra 1 fps boost from an Intel cpu, this is way more worth it.

The fastest consumer CPU I have ever had the pleasure of using. Works fine in my Asus Crosshair VII Hero Wifi (x470).

I upgraded from a Intel Core i7-6950x. This is a definite improvement. I highly recommend this processor. I use it for development and video encoding. It is about a 40% improvement over the i7-6950x for most work loads.

I use it in my home server (filestorage + dozen of virtual machines)

Good god did i not want to need to buy this. After a Rigorous effort of looking into my build and 2 on and off months of testing i figured out my last Processor (From the same company) turned out to be corrupt/Malfunctioning. After buying this more recommended and up to date one i could not be happier. And to save a lot of you the time of doing the research. The fan that comes with it does the job perfectly fine. These newer versions do not overheat at all and dont require beefy rigs to keep cool so you can rest easy knowing I did about 2 days of research and testing on my own to figure out this for sure and lot of video surfing to get a definitive answer. No lagging or gaming hiccups and I did slightly overclock.

Same performance as i9-9900k on gaming without overclock (max delta of 10 FPS at all times on 6 major HDR titles). Destroys the i9 in ML/AI processing power. Stock fan cooler is more than enough - even with core clocked to 4600mhz youre only hitting like 72 degrees under 4k extreme stress tests. Remember youre getting wider lanes with this chip so dont skimp on a good M2 NVME (Sabrent 1TB Rocket) or RAM (G.Skill RGB 3200Mhz-3600Mhz). I like the MSI ATX570 ACE with this because it will give you a few good years of support and supports 5000Mhz bandwidth which most cards wont reach for years.

Very impressed with this CPU. Yes its expensive, but the performance you get for the price is very good. Running this with a GTX 1660 Super in the mean time until the 3080s are back in stock, and even currently it can run every game ive thrown at it with 60+FPS at high+ settings. I really went with AMD because they tend to be better than Intel at workstation applications in their consumer line of chips, and ive noticed this is a bit faster at applications like Blender and Premiere compared to my 2019 iMac with an Intel 9900k.

Pase de un I7 6700 a este todo terreno. La capacidad que tiene para cualquier tarea es impresionante. Lo uso para juegos, edición de foto, edición de vídeo, edición 3D... No he encontrado todavía nada que lo haga cojear.
