Purchased this to finally go all in on the new Ryzen architecture after living with an FX-8350 for a couple of years. The CPU worked on first installation with no issues. The only problem is that AMD is still configuring some of the power management and clock management through various chipset updates. I have yet to see this processor fully hit the advertised 4.2 Ghz boost clock, but it does consistently go over 4.0 Ghz. It runs at relatively cool temperatures with the stock cooler, around 39-45 C at idle, and anywhere from 60 - 70 C on full load. I havent seen any high voltages that others take offense with (even though it is approved to accept 1.5 V) as it idles at around 1.395 V

Reviews über die Leistung dieser CPU gibt es genug. Ich will an dieser Stelle nur jedem raten den mitgelieferten Kühler sofort zu entsorgen und sich einen passenden aftermarket Kühler zu kaufen. Die Kühlleistung des Wraith Stealth reicht für diese CPU bei weitem nicht aus. Unter Last errreichte meine CPU über 95 C, was zu Abstürzen führte. Mit einem guten Aftermarket Luftkühler lässt sich die Temperatur um sage und schreibe über 25 C verringern samt reduzierter Geräuschkulisse.

Great value especially with the markets current climate. The stock cooler can be a tony bit too noisy, but thats fine as long as it keeps it from overheating. the stock cooler that comers with the R5 processor has thermal paste pre applied so dont worry about that. Both installation of the cpu and stock cooler was simple and easy simply placing the can atop the processor and screwing it in.

This was an upgrade from a Intel i5-6400 and it is night and day. The performance is outstanding in all the games I was struggling to get 60fps. Definitely a worthy investment, I did the combo with the motherboard and everything arrived together. Once I put everything on the board and booted it up it went straight to the BIOS perfectly with no issue. If youre looking to upgrade but dont want to spent over a thousand dollars, this is the CPU for you!

I paired the ryzen 3600 with a 5700xt and its a great combo.

Be very careful installing especially if you have shakey hands.
