Amazing pc very powerful WELL worth the money can run any and every game at high setting to ultra is truly a powerfull pc

Looked used when I received it, box was beaten up and there looked like water stains on top. Should have sent it back but waited so Ling to get it I kept it. Windows crashes all the time, it wont start properly with my wireless USB port plugged in(freezes) games freeze some times and I have had it 3 weeks

Ive had several gaming laptops from Lenova and Acer and was excited to see the power of a Alienware desktop. Too bad Alienware is partnered with Dell. Beautiful design and the hardware and specs seems high end but a hour after getting set up with steam and game pass, Dell sent a software update. The audio for the games wasnt working so the update was mandatory. Almost immediately after the update, the computer went into a perpetual loop between a blue screen of death restarting itself and the Alienware logo. It was impossible to boot even into safe recovery mode no matter what. I spent a whole day working with Dell techs, who didnt know much more than me, I created several live flashdrive with windows updates and recovery systems on it to no avail. Ive worked around computers for over 15 years and have never seen anything of the sort. Dell literally bricked my desktop with their update.

Pros: When it worked, it worked really well. Looks great, pretty customizable. Cons: Rarely worked coming out of the box. Multiple crashes during gaming (not even for long periods of time). Didnt even have a chance to download all the programs I had on my old computer. One game and some software was all the was downloaded. Also froze multiple times, had to hard reset it. I had high hopes for this purchases unfortunately, this was not it. Sent it back after one weekend of gaming. I would avoid this product.

This computer was alright at first but slowly started to just lose it investment as time and days gone on. One week the system just had the light stop working on the alian head button and then a second week and the ring around the system just stopped, now I am left with just the fan light so it lost is uniqueness in a few weeks lastly I suffered a blue screen on using discord or sharing screen(which for the money invested I should not see this so early) it frame dipped alot and froze on alot of moments in games like resident evil 5(old game and yet the frames dropped to 0 for 5 secs or freeze on moments like healing) phasmophobia on random moments(worst on ghost encounters) and finally on save cats in monster hunter storys 2 (specifically when it zooms in when you interact with it and it just freeze and drop to zero for 2 seconds or crash entirely) These just to name a few of the games I seen this problem occurred. Overall maybe my computer was just one of the bad eggs. Returning it but just be mindful when buying this. Its capable but strangely felt I got the bad end. Customer support helped but no solution in the end. they was nice and worked with me as far as we can together. Since it dident show signs of program errors that they could figure out. I am not tech savvy too much on the parts on the inside so I dident wanna mess with anything. Returning it and trying Again on a different product.

Ill write a better review when it starts breaking down. Though that will be a long time from now hah

I got this computer on a sale and that’s really the only way it’s worth it. The BIOS is configured wrong from the factory (make sure XMP and resizable bar are enabled), the thermal paste on the video card is applied incorrectly, and the pre installed software and drivers are not configured properly. As is, this computer is great for parts if you can get it on sale or if you need a learning project. If you can find it on sale and don’t mind extra work, you can fix these issues yourself. I recommend GamersNexus YouTube channel. Search Alienware on their channel. They document most of the issues and show you how to correct them (the ones that can be corrected anyway). Also, they don’t talk about it, but uninstall all pre installed software. Including the Alienware Command Center and Nvidia geforceexperience. The manufacturer does not install it properly and they will not work unless you uninstall and install the latest version from the support site. For Geforce experience, download and install directly from nvidia’s site. The one on Dell/Alienware’s support site does not work. You’re welcome. Correcting the video card takes the most time and effort. You’ll need to disassemble your video card, remove some part stickers, and repaste. Hopefully this post will save you the time I’ll never get back. If you don’t want to put in the time or can’t find this PC on sale, I recommend you move on and filter your search to NOT include Dell or Alienware.

It looks amazing and so far works amazing too! Great upgrade to my 7 year old Dell!

I bought the computer on black Friday 2022. When I checked the tech insurance since the computer works very slow, I found it started since May 2022. So, I called Alien tech support, and the technician told me the owners name is Ryan Wang, definitely not me! And he did remote analysis on the computer and told me it works very slow and tried to upload the software. But FAILED! Then he asked to reset the computer to its factory setting, and I found someone put a lock key to the computer! It was very frustrating! I really need a refund! They cannot sell something pre-owned at such a high price!
