I was extremely excited to receive my new PC, plugged it in and no inputs were reading through the motherboard, graphics card or front inputs. I called Alienware support via Dell and they were less than useful. Got redirected 7 times to overseas support that had no idea what a graphics card even was so I had to call a friend that happened to know more than the people that get paid to do this. After all that the fix turned out to not be terrible. I just had to move the ram around (It had gotten loose in shipping) and factory restart the power supply and the PC runs like a dream. Very happy with the gaming experience so far.

Getting into gaming on PC and wanted the best bang for the buck so I bought this computer! Very happy with this computer! Can’t even build one from Alienware for this price. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

Bought this in July of 2022 ... and now its October and Ive reformatted this computer 2 times and even installed Windows 10 on it ... Why you ask? Because - about a month ago, there just seems to be one glitch after another. Whether its a game freezing up mid-frame for a few seconds, or a YouTube clip stuttering while streaming or simply doing remedial tasks and the processor just maxes out for no reason causing a resource freeze up for the system ... just seems to be one thing after another. Im starting to think that AMD is nothing like an Intel processor. This is my first and quite possibly my last purchase of anything AMD related because its just not performing like I had hoped. Be WARNED - this is probably not the computer you should buy, no matter how good the deal seems.

The reason Im giving this one star is that when one buys a $2600 computer, one expects it to work without getting blue screen errors within the first week. I started receiving BSOD errors while I was away from my computer (no games were running) on a regular basis within the first few days of using this computer. I did a fresh install of windows 10 (downgraded from 11). The computer seems a lot more responsive on first reboot with a fresh windows 10. The alienware control center is ABSOLUTE JUNK SOFTWARE. You will experience this yourself. You only need it to control lights, you can still overclock from the BIOS. I recommend never installing any dell/alienware software if you can help it. I will know in a few days if the BSOD issue is resolved with the fresh windows10 install and no dell junk software. If you buy this PC, expect to have to do some work to make it run properly, even though you shouldnt need to do this at this price point. Update: I have not gotten any BSOD in at least a week since installing win10 and removing dell junk Updating this to 3 stars. Minus 2 stars for Dell junk messing up an otherwise great computer

This computer was alright at first but slowly started to just lose it investment as time and days gone on. One week the system just had the light stop working on the alian head button and then a second week and the ring around the system just stopped, now I am left with just the fan light so it lost is uniqueness in a few weeks lastly I suffered a blue screen on using discord or sharing screen(which for the money invested I should not see this so early) it frame dipped alot and froze on alot of moments in games like resident evil 5(old game and yet the frames dropped to 0 for 5 secs or freeze on moments like healing) phasmophobia on random moments(worst on ghost encounters) and finally on save cats in monster hunter storys 2 (specifically when it zooms in when you interact with it and it just freeze and drop to zero for 2 seconds or crash entirely) These just to name a few of the games I seen this problem occurred. Overall maybe my computer was just one of the bad eggs. Returning it but just be mindful when buying this. Its capable but strangely felt I got the bad end. Customer support helped but no solution in the end. they was nice and worked with me as far as we can together. Since it dident show signs of program errors that they could figure out. I am not tech savvy too much on the parts on the inside so I dident wanna mess with anything. Returning it and trying Again on a different product.

This was a major upgrade from my Dell XPS 8500. It is so fast it feels like I am going back in time! Great machine by itself, but even better when partnered with quality accessories!

    Greater than one week

Overall great PC. Dont really notice the fans. My only issue is Ive had it about six months and the liquid cooler just went out. On the other hand, support has been great. They couldnt find the right cooler for my unit so I have to send the whole unit back which is a little bit of a pain, but the customer service has been great. Would definitely recommend to anybody!!

I have built PCs in the past, but I decided to go with this pre-built system for a variety of reasons. I purchased the computer Nov. 3. It stopped booting Feb. 6 and said there was an issue because a CPU fan could not be found. I called Dell Feb. 7, sent it in for repairs, and Dell received it Feb. 11. On Feb. 21, I was told the computer was out of warranty because I upgraded the hard drive and was charged $150 for repairs. I was initially told the computer would be out for repairs for 10-12 business days. Today is Day 46, and I keep being told that a part is on backorder. That part is a hard drive. Remember, the issue wasnt about a hard drive at all. I was told there was an issue with the CPU fan and the heatsink. Ive been waiting on my computer to be returned over a hard drive that is on backorder. I told them I could order a hard drive from Amazon and have it to them by tomorrow. I had my computer for 89 days. Dell has had it for the past 46 (and counting). The system was great while it worked, but now it feels more like a memory than something I owned. UPDATE: I finally received the unit back after its lengthy absence, and its once again working fine. But Im hesitant to make any changes to the unit, including adding the Alienware Command Center, because Im scared it will go down again. Again, I like it when its running. Hope I dont have any more problems.

The PC is good. Windows 11 Home is crap, and it should come with professional or workstation model. And, the PC keep making the click/switch noise after every few minutes even if youre not working.
