23-09-2024I purchased these to wear while biking and general use when I need to be more aware of my surroundings than my normal earbuds allow. I went with the Aeropex model because of the higher water resistance rating vs the Air. The sound quality is fine. Comparing it versus a traditional set of headphones or earbuds is probably unfair. My problem, and the reason I returned them, is they were too small for my head. For reference I wear a size 7 3/4 fitted cap, so large, but not huge, and the front piece that is supposed to land on the cheek bone just in front of the ear opening actually floated right over my ear opening. They do not have a size adjustment, and positioning the strap thing higher or lower on the head did not get them to a useful position for me. I could still hear the audio with them, but it was not great sound quality, nor was it very comfortable or secure feeling for me. If they had a bigger size I would have been happy to exchange them for that.

Greater than one weekExcellent for listening to books, podcasts and even meetings, especially while driving as you are able to listen to your surroundings at the same time.

> 3 dayGot these for my partner who enjoys listening to music on her runs but also gets easily distracted! She loves it-says it helps her still pay attention to her surroundings to listen for any cars, traffic, or people around her, while being able to listen to music! I feel better knowing shes safer out there while shes slaying her training sessions.

> 3 dayAdventure approved! Super lightweigh.. I forgot Im even wearing these. Great for phone calls too. The battery lasts a very long time. These are not meant to be used for noise cancellation without the use of the ear plugs. I absolutely looooove these. Theyre a real game changer for my hiking and backpacking adventures. I can listen to podcasts and music and still am able to hear things around me. If I could give these 100 stars I would.

Greater than one weekThis is my second headset. The sound was good and I was very happy with the first headset. It developed a rattle on one side which was very annoying. The warranty seemed straight forward and they accepted the headset back with an RMA very efficiently. Over 30 days have gone by and a replacement was not sent. I bought a second headset. It does not charge anymore. The batteries are dead. The RMA process is a bit lengthy and it is impossible to talk to a person. I WILL NOT PURCHASE A THIRD HEADSET. In the meantime, I’m trying other products. I do not recommend this companies products at all.

> 3 dayThese headsets would be perfect if it wasnt for the loud beep everytime you hit a button to answer or end a call or change the volume. Beware if you have earplugs on this beep is physically painful to the point I would call it dangerous! Im attempting to return mine. I need them to work with the earplugs in. Currently I have to remove the earplugs anytime I need to press a button on the headset. Buyer Beware. Aftershokz has been aware of the problem for a couple years and has opted to do nothing about it. Put your money somewhere, anywhere else or...save the box to simplify your ultimate return.

Greater than one weekIt served me well for over two years, even music playback was surprisingly nice. Unfortunately a few days ago, fresh out of the warranty period, the right earpiece on my Aeropex started rattling. I could deal with it if that was all, but the rattling inside causes an extremely unpleasant resonance, not unlike nails on a chalkboard, when the unit beeps - which happens whenever I press any of the buttons. Ill need to implement a DIY fix that will undoubtedly impact sound quality from the right side, and possibly mic input.

> 3 dayWorked for a few months, then quit working. Randomly loses power even with a full charge, and needs to be turned on again. Went through all the troubleshooting steps and still the problems remain. 2 year warranty means nothing when getting ghosted by the company. Headphones cost way too much for what you get. Aftershokz is not a company that I would recommend.
