Fantastic for driving or doing housework. I can listen to books, music, podcasts while doing mundane things. For long car trips it keeps me engaged and helps pass the time. Since they do not go into your ear canals, you can hear traffic, sirens etc and drive safely.

Far and away, these are the best headphones I have ever owned. I work out a lot, and I had a problem. My headphones would invariably get sweaty, corrode, and break within a few months of usage. Furthermore, by the time I was done with a workout, my ears would be hot and bothered by the sweaty headphones covering my ears. And, my ears cannot accept earbuds, they keep dropping out. And, sometimes when running outside I wanted to be aware of outside noise for safety purposes. These headphones provide the perfect solution to all of my problems. They are incredibly water-resistant. They dont cover my ears and leave them sweaty. The sound is very clear. And when I want to run outside, they dont impede environmental noise. Their only tradeoff, and I consider it minor, is I have to wear earplugs when I use them in the gym. Because they dont block environmental noise you have to wear earplugs if you are in a noisy environment. I would also add that the bluetooth connection works perfectly, which is another issue Ive had with other headphones. With these headphones, I have NEVER had an issue with connectivity. When I turn them on, they connect almost instantly, and they never drop.

I absolutely love these. They comfortable, easy to wear when sleeping, and have good battery life. My wife has adopted them since I found I cannot use them. My only guess is due to dental surgery a few years ago I get this weird feeling in my jaw after about an hour of use, then the vertigo sets in. So, ymmv, but I sadly cannot use this wonderful product. This also does not cancel noise, so if you need to hear they are perfect. If you need noise cancelation, pop in the ear plugs and you are good to go.

With one small design exception, these headphones are impressive. The sound quality is really good and they are comfortable to wear. Since they do not go in your ears, in high noise areas you will not hear what they transmit as well as you would with over or in ear headphones, but on the other hand the sound is pretty loud. The sound quality is more on the treble side than base. I got these because since COVID-19 began my work has been mostly virtual and that meant I had to have headphones on or in my ears all of the time. My ears started to get irritated by the constant headphone use, so I ordered these. The Aftershokz are not in your ears so they don’t irritate my ear canal area but let me get the job done. My one criticism, is that I would love to use these in bed while going to sleep, but their design makes that impossible because the behind the head part protrudes beyond the back of your head so you cannot lay back while using them. If they had a softer, or more form fitting back piece they would be ideal

I had a pair of the Aftershokz Titanium for a year and have to say I wasnt impressed with it overall. I decided to give the Aeropex a try, and my gosh what a difference this version makes! First to get a few things out of the way for those new to bone conduction. These headphones do not isolate outside sound - by design - so you wont be able to make out much of your podcast in a noisy subway car. Nor can you expect real bass. Its simple physics. If you boomy bass is what you are after, or you expect to constantly be in a noisy environment, youll be much happier with a $20 pair of earbuds with good sealing tips. You use bone conduction headset to retain full situation awareness of your aural surroundings. Compare to the original Aftershockz, the Aeropex is lighter, much more comfortable to wear, and have appreciably fuller and louder sound. Its completely worth of the $80 extra IMHO. I am also happy with the customer service - I had some issues with the multi-function button with my original pair. I contacted customer support and they sent me a replacement pair within days - no questions asked. There are two issues that prevents me from giving this 5 stars. First is the questionable decision to use a proprietary charging cable - sure the magnetic connection works very well and they are nice to include two cables in the box. But Id have much preferred a standard USB-C connection or Qi-based wireless charging, so I dont need to carry yet another cable when I travel. 2nd is a software issue - when headset makes a loud beep whenever you press a button, and its volume is not adjusted for the volume setting of the headset. So the beeps are startlingly loud when you are listening to some quiet music. Its gotten so annoying that I try not to use the headset to adjust volume at all at night.

Unfortunately these didnt work for me. I have tried several bone conduction headphones and out of all of them these had the best sound quality, and while using with my phone, the person I was talking to could hear me substantially better with this set than all of the others. The problem I have though is that they are too tight which is causing pain in my temples and headaches. It is almost like stressful. I would definitely keep this set over others if this was not occurring.

The term noise cancelling for these headphones doesnt make a lot of sense for what they are, open ear headphones. I am able to perfectly hear music and also hear what is going on around me which is what I need for my job. Adding ear plugs only makes the sound better. There is a sweet spot that you have to find to get optimal sound, trial and error until you find where works best for you. There is a multifunction capability that is very handy, allowing me to be connected to 2 devices at the same time, i.e. watching a show on my tablet and still being able to answer calls on my phone all through the headphones. Voice calling is also very clear. My only complaint is the hard band. Its flexible but it sticks out from my head so it gets in the way when you lean back on a headrest, wear a collared shirt or when I throw on my hard hat at work....I think Ive just got to get used to it still. I was very concerned about comfort when it came to wearing glasses and the headphones at the same time and I have not had a problem yet, the arm of my glasses and the headphones dont seem to get in the way of each other. So far, the battery life has been far better than the 8 hours they are rated for. I had them on and listened to music for the majority of a 15 hour shift yesterday, did not charge them last night and theyre still going strong 6 hours into todays shift and are still at a medium charge level. I was also VERY pleased to find that the headphones came with 2 chargers....how wonderful is that?!?! Music, Audiobooks, Podcasts, and calls were all stellar with the headphones, watching a show was a little tricky just because I think there is too much going on and the noise levels vary some much, the bass isnt great so I think that is the main problem with watching a show/movie on them. All in all, a little pricey but worth it for what I need them for...music to keep me sane while being required to wear hearing protection at work for long shifts.

If they dont seem loud enough use the ear plugs so you block ambient noise and they will be much louder. I love these because you can listen to music and still hear whats going on around you. Just remember if youre driving dont turn them up to loud otherwise you may not hear emergency vehicles.
