The high resolution provide terrific color, the machine is fast, light and compact.... great for travel. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the backlit keyboard. When lit, the white light against the silver colored keys makes it almost impossible to see the letters, especially in a bright environment. One recommendation: do not get a Windows 10 S machine if you plan to do the mod to get it to Windows 10 Home (so you can use non MS software). I did that and the machine repeatedly froze; it was returned.

Laptop is decent and worked as advertised. Used by elderly person for zoom meetings and text processing mostly. However, Keyboard and touchscreen simply stopped working after 3 months of use.

This is my second Acer Swift and I absolutely love this computer. With a 10th gen Intel Core I7, 16gb of ram, and 1tb ssd this machine met my requirements for work and play. Its sleek and yet the keyboard is really comfortable to type on. And the screen is a joy to use. 3:2 is so helpful with work and browsing and the 2256 x 1504 resolution is bright and crystal clear. And I havent even mentioned Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone who needs a good work laptop that also knows how to play.

The bios is broken so it is impossible to run linux on this machine.

Ive only had it for a short time. I bought it for photo editing, and so far it provides smooth operation; very few pauses due to photo size (10-12 MB). The only thing I dont particularly like is the touchpad, so I am using a wireless mouse. You can modify some settings, but the left click is a little stiff and loud. I didnt have much luck with getting Acer support for setup questions. For the most part I was able to work through them.

Bought it February, took it along to South America. A couple of months there after I got dashes and stripes of all sorts on the display. Contacted Acer sth America and they said they do not honor warranty with an Amazon invoice !! which I submitted. I have had many other PCs and never faced such an unacceptable response from a mayor manufacturer. Amazon should claim Acer for such a deception ,

Great computer until it suddenly stopped working. There were a few times before when I would have to push the power button a couple of times for it to turn on -- didnt think too much of it because I thought that maybe I hadnt pressed the power button long enough. Then a couple of days ago after using it during a meeting, I went back to my office and it appeared as though the computer had turned itself off. I thought maybe the battery had died because it would not turn back on. So I tried charging it for several hours.....still nothing. Regretting that I bought a computer on Amazon....

I bought this laptop for running Linux as it was rated one of the top. It was definitely the easiest Linux installs Ive done -- though thats once you figure out the hidden bios menu.
