Great gaming laptop perfect for my son graphics are incredible! He loves loves loves this laptop

This laptop is a beast. Gaming gets me 300-400 fps on normal settings and 120-150 on ultra. No video lag. The only issue I faced was with windows, but it is a different story. A lovely silent keyboard and turbojets fan would cool this baby down. This kind of laptop doesnt tend to be battery efficient due to the loaded CPU and GPU. If you are playing you have around 45 minutes once your parent shuts the braker down. If you are on a budget it is a great opportunity to get a gaming laptop. I do wish there would be more compatibility to update ram for the future since it is kinda a big investment and I would last it longer than 2 years. It is definnatly not portable laptop even though it is a laptop, this beast is a bit heavy. But you are purchasing this powerful machine for a reason right? not for business meetings. Great item and I would recommend it!

Tl;dr Acer Predator Triton 500 (PT516-52S-73YD) has quality control issues. Heat dissipation from the GPU goes through the w,a,s,d keys on the keyboard making for VERY uncomfortable gaming unless you use an external keyboard. GPU started glitching after a week of use. Acer warranty support technicians couldn’t fix it after 3 attempts and 6 weeks of back-and-forth with their repair center. The technicians damaged the laptop during the repairs. Acer Corporate Support tried to replace it with an inferior machine (Acer Nitro 5 with lower specs), which I refused, and Acer has so far refused to issue a refund.

I have been looking for a gaming laptop for a long time because I like to game on the go. To be completely honest I am a desktop gaming guy. Unfortunately, it is a pain to take it everyone and very impractical.

Broke in a years time, no longer connects to wifi and battery life is terrible

Changing my review, great lap top. I did have a couple issues where the keyboard had stopped working, but then started again. A lot of the letters have been rubbed off due to a lot of use, I bought sticky letters to go over the ones that are gone. Otherwise, the lap top itself has been great.

The laptop works great with games that are graphically demanding! There is no lag when I play any games. However, it does tend to overheat after about 30 mins of use so I highly recommend you to buy a cooling pad to prevent it from overheating. As for the battery life it does last about a whole day and then you would need to charge it but it depends on what programs you are using and on what power mode. I always have mine on best battery life.

The Predator Laptop is a very light and thing gamer friendly laptop mostly compatible for a traveling lifestyle. The keyboard is an upgrade from past generations and allows quick response time and accuracy with a light up keyboard suitable for night time use. With various customizations the user can add their own creativeness to their gaming experience and set their own gaming boundaries. The predator laptop is the next generation surface for gaming.

You will need a extra fan because the computer get too hot and the cooling fans dont keep it cool. After a year the power cord wont stay in the computer slot. very poor design
