I chose this gaming laptop after about a month of research, this laptop is in my opinion the best gaming laptop on the market currently for the price. I added a 1tb ssd for storage which is this laptops only problem imo. This laptop has EXCELLENT thermals, it NEVER thermal throttles due to the -.125 undervolt on the cpu and good cooling system so long as you dont block the vents and I live in a very hot area often the outside temp gets to 85+ degrees farenheit. I managed to undervolt to -.16 and ive seen others get as far as -.17. Doesnt have ray tracing but currently there arent many games that support it and even those that do will lower your fps drastically and were talking desktop gpus here a laptop rtx gpu wont fair well FPS-wise. Doesnt have RGB which is a plus for me but to each their own. Can easily get ~144 fps on games that I play which are Dota 2, WoW, WoW Classic beta, DOOM, and i can get ~50 fps on TWW2 on ultra which isnt too bad.

Perfect gaming laptop and laptop for school. Gameplay on it looks amazing way better graphics than my Xbox honestly. Recommend for anybody looking into purchasing their first gaming laptop! Worth the money! Would be again!

Very nice for gaming in my eyes for a first gaming laptop, previously I used a home made PC with a 1030 and older i7 (16gb ram). I have actually yet needed to overclock my graphics. I play games consisting of Ark Survival evolve, world of warships, and monster Hunter world on it regularly, as well as streaming and broadcasting music. Fits my needs nicely for a mobile person like me. Also NOTE, it does get hot when playing games after a while. Nothing to be concerned about, Cooling pads would help but I decided against using mine and instead just propped the back slightly and have a small fan blowing air across the back on the laptop.

Got what I was looking for - descent pc in a laptop form factor.

The only positive I can give this laptop is that it starts up really fast after it crashes, which is literally every time i try to play a game and use the GPU. Acer is having me send this back and I didnt have it for a full 24 hours.

It was the Christmas gift for my son, an excellent gaming laptop, good graphics and performance. Very good price for its quality and benefits.
