Good for gaming

I replace my laptop about every 5 years or so and usually purchase HP. I thought I would try the Acer this time and load it up for using XPlane. I spend many hours a day on my laptop and the Acer has been very satisfactory.

What I didn’t like was the power cord. It does a L shape that seems to pull on the connection on the laptop. The color is black and hard ta keep clean. Also the hard drive is way 2 small, if your a gamer 4 or 5 game down loads and it’s maxed out, you’ll definitely have ta upgrade hard drive very soon...

I bought this laptop and the 1 time i tried to use it it didnt work. I called amazon and they kept answering and ending my calls claiming that they can not hear me. On top of that, Amazon is sorry for the inconvenience but I have to contact Acer to get it fixed t my expense. Now the laptopis fully paid for but i do not have the use of it and have to pay more for repairs.

Laptop worked great for the first week or so I was able to play just about any game I threw at it at the highest graphic settings, but about a week into using the laptop it froze up and bluescreened. From that point on the laptop wouldnt get past the boot screen, or if it did it would freeze and bluescreen within a few minutes even if it was just idling. Trying a factory reset with an external drive always froze halfway through. I contacted the special predator customer support line and was initially told that I was the problem and that the laptop was working just fine... Once I convinced them that the computer was actually broken they then said that they would send me their special recovery disk that would fix all of my problems. Waited two weeks for the disk and when I didnt receive it I called back and was told that the drive was on the way and should arrive in 8-16 days. I waited another 3 weeks for the disk and when it still didnt arrive I called back and was told that they are still processing my request. Im completely fed up with this broken laptop and their terrible customer service. On top of all of this the computer is so broken that I cant wipe the harddrive and remove my personal data before returning it. Im going to try returning anyway so I can get my $1,000 back.

Im so glad i bought this gaming laptop my tower died two days ago sadly, anyways the battery life is not great but that is expected in Gaming laptops because they require as much power as a gaming desktop especially to keep it cool while the pc runs.

I like that product but theres a very huge disappointed point, theres no software to disconnect the battery to charge so your battery will be charged all the time you plugged in, I dont know how they missed that software, I should plugin all time to get the higher performance but in that way you will lost you battery life
