Greater than one weekI needed a new computer for gaming. I still like WoW. And my old computer couldnt handle it. SO MUCH LAG! But THIS computer....SO SMOOOOOOTH! And OMG! The GRAPHICS are AMAZING! I didnt know how DETAILED the world was before!!! Im even more in love with WoW. Finally I computer that works for my gaming. The heat isnt too bad. One place gets warm, but flat surface or desk, keeps it cool enough. NO heat warnings (Like my old one.) Fan works well! Now I can check out other games! My kids love the name, they think its cool it says Predator on laptop! So far, this computer is so much better than my old one, I cant find any negatives.

The screen quality is so crisp, wifi signal is stronger than any device I own and it runs every game I own from league of legends to skyrim with high resolution mods with no frame drops!

> 3 dayContrary to the product description this particular version of the Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop does not support the 802.11ac Gigabit Wifi standard. This particular model, unlike previous models does not use the Atheros Wifi chipset. This model uses an Intel chipset which is not compatible with the 802.11ac standard.

24-09-2024Gaming... 144hz screen but Overwatch in low resolution (full low) drop 2 or 3 times per game at 30fps during 10sec... 20 degrees in my room so its not the weather... Was sceptical to buy Acer. First and last time.

> 3 dayDO NOT waste your money. I purchased this 5 months ago and I am currently in the process of having it shipped for repair under the warranty already. It died during gaming, nice job for a gaming laptop right? Acer support had me try battery resets before finally saying it needs repair. The shipping label took 3 days longer to be sent to me via email and I had to call support 3x. Also, the product must be packaged and shipped, with insurance on my dime, with no reimbursement or even FedEx credit from Acer. I inquired if this was available and was denied, all shipping costs and status is out of Acers hands. Trash company, save yourself the grief folks, dont buy acer.
