I absolutely love this monitor, sure it’s not the top of the line and only 1080p but gaming in 4K is expensive. Pros: - 1ms - 144hz - Price - Overall appearance - Sturdy stand - Easy adjustable screen Seriously I had semi low expectations when buying because it was cheaper than some but honestly it’s fantastic I love the stand it doesn’t move or rattle or anything it’s probably the best stand I’ve ever had for a monitor. It has small borders around the screen so it’s not massive and doesn’t take up a lot of space on your desk. Not sure why people say the colors looked washed or whatever to me they looked pretty good I took about 5 minutes messing with the setting and bumped it to 144hz cuz it’s in 60hz standard and it was 100 times better. Cons: - LED power light - Settings So when I first got it I couldn’t figure out what was bothering my eye thought maybe I needed to adjust to the 144hz. Figured out that when the screen is adjusted to the top of the stand the power light was like beaming me in the eye, super annoying. Easy fix cover it with a super small piece of duct tape so you can still see it but not right in the eye lol. The settings menu is a bit of a pain in the ass to manage around to changing stuff but honestly I set it once and never touch it again 9/10 so who cares. You have to go into the windows advanced settings to bump it to 144hz and you need a DP cable HDMI I believe can be set to 120hz. In conclusion guys honestly you won’t be dissappointed in this monitor I love it. Does everything I wanted in a monitor and I don’t get eye strain from long sessions of use which is awesome! Also the price makes it even more attractive. For people who gave it 1 star for a white screen, come on shit happens you got a bad unit, they replaced it under warranty, it happens. For real though if you’re like me who has to check 50 different same items trying to decide, just buy this one it’s great! EDIT: 3 years later and still going strong. Best 1080p monitor Ive ever bought. Not a single dead pixel, no flashing, still bright af, and its actually brighter than my Dell DG2716 and the white is more true lol.

I have had this monitor for about a week now and I have to say this thing is great. I am using it for ps4 as of right now because I plan to get a pc in the future. Yes I know that 144hz isnt compatible with a console but as of right now this is all I have. Im mostly playing fortnite at the moment but I tested it out on other games and I literally just realized that there is a slight ghosting. Its nothing noticable at all but I was spaced out staring at my character while spinning and I saw like a small shadow or “ghosting” effect coming off his arm. Like i said nothing to worry about as I am guessing this wont happen on 144hz cause its a faster refresh rate and will be a ton smoother. I am just curious if anyone has this issue on theirs as well? This super unoticable ghosting is no reason why you should not get the monitor unless you notice a lot

**** Update, 3 years now, im replacing it with an MSI monitor, i still think this is a fairly solid monitor over all. But i still cant get the colors right. i have spent most of the time with this monitor having the light colors washed out because i need to see in dark areas in my games. The three hundred price point for this is way too high. if you get it on sale and it ticks all your boxes go for it, but there are way better monitors for less money. **** original review*** On paper this monitor has everything you could want, 144hz, dp and hdmi input, basic speakers if you dont have any other ones, audio pass through, vsync.... all the bells and whistles... but i can NOT get the colors to look right on this... the worst part is the darks are way too dark, i try to compensate with nvidia control panel settings, but if i adjust the settings to make dark colors look good the light colors get washed out. if i adjust the light colors to look right, all the dark colors are just black and you cant see anything in dark videogames, shows, or movies..... i would not buy it again. other than the color settings issues, its has everything you could want... if i ever figure out the color settings ill update my review, but ive already had this monitor for almost 2 years now i think? and i mess with it frequently and cant get it right so dont hold your breath.

This monitor is my central of three and I love it! Its elevated my gaming experience ten fold and if someone is looking to get a budget monitor that can stream seamless video quality in over 144hz, this is probably the best pick on this website. THAT BEING SAID there is certainly an issue with longevity that I have seen in other reviews as well. For one, if you plan on using a Display Port cable for this monitor, BOY HOWDY to you because this monitor LOVES to die for no reason. I think its faulty manufacturing but the display ports just DIE on this monitor, I have only had mine for 6 months. Luckily, all you need to do is swap to an HDMI and you can get crystal clear picture again, but youre compromising on frames at that point which should not have to happen in the first place! All in all, I recommend this product for sure! Just keep an extra HDMI handy for when the inevitable happens.

This Monitor is fantastic. The only gripes that I have with it is when it comes out of the box and sound. When you turn it on for the first time the colors seem really washed out and you do have to play with the settings to fix it. That along with the speakers being on the weaker side, Though I didnt expect to live out of the monitors speakers, it was very underwhelming to hear sound come through the speaker. Other than those two, its a fantastic monitor.

I can forgive its colors as maybe too different to line up to what Im used to as somehow the oddball out of at least six monitors, two tablets, and four phones Ive used in the last eight years, but what really gets negative points are how it interacts with the operating system. In my experience, when other external monitors are off, the system still recognizes them as connected, and the monitor comes to life as soon as the computer is back on. This thing takes its sweet time turning on when the computer turns on or when its own power is turned back on. When off, it might as well be disconnected. That is, if turned off while the computer is on, Windows will shift all apps to my other monitor as though the cable has been removed. No other external monitor Ive used has this behavior. While these are mild nuisances in the grand scheme of things, why suffer when there are no notable positives and countless other monitor options out there?

For the price, This is a great gaming monitor. Ultimately I am very pleased with this monitor, despite a few shortcomings. (At the end of this review, I have shared settings that are widely shared across the web for better picture quality.) Ill start off with the few things I DONT like first. The Menu Buttons, I hate them. 6 rectangular buttons in a row on the bottom right of the monitor. I would prefer a joystick style. The Color, Horrible out of the box. Very bright, Very washed out. But very Fixable. The rest is all positive. My argument against the things I dont like will simply be For the Price, You cant Beat it. I paid $189.99 for this XFA240 monitor. For under $200 dollars, you wont be able to find a better monitor. Especially one with 144hz and 1ms response time. Performance wise, this monitor is a beast. This is my first 144hz gaming monitor, and you can literally feel the difference. I play mainly FPS games and in my 100% honest opinion, I believe monitor has enhanced my game-play. Those small precise movements, Split second twitch shots, Quick peaks from cover, ect. All start to feel...Right. I would definitely recommend this monitor if you can get past the wonky Menu Buttons, And washed out picture out of the box. Again, with some tweaking to the settings this monitor will perform fine. Again, Remember this is a sub $200 GAMING monitor. Its not going to compete with the big name monitors that easily cost $200-$400 more than this one. So it does have its short comings. But, For the Price...You cant beat it! Recommended Settings. This is a good base line, you may prefer to add a few more tweaks. Picture: Bright: 5 Contrast: 45 Black Level: 3 Blue light: OFF ACM: OFF Super Sharpness: OFF Color: Gamma 2.2 Colour temp: User * R Gain:55 * G Gain:52 * B Gain:50 All bias to 49 SRGB mode: OFF 6-axis hue: Default 6-axis Saturate: Adjust all to 55 except yellow saturate to 59.

Recieved one with dead pixels out of the box. However I am getting an exchange. From the short time I used it with the defective pixel, The performance was good. You may need to go adjust your monitor to 144hz as it may be factory set at 60hz. BEWARE nvidia purist! The monitor is not G-sync its AMD freesync. If you are in need for 144hz while on a budget this will do you just fine with no frills. The audio is comparable to a 1999 honda civic with 200,000 miles on it. But Im sure most of you keep your headsets on when you go into incognito mode anyways. Overall its a good budget monitor if you are seeking 144hz with 1080p quality. Otherwise take more shifts at work and get something that doesnt make you feel suspicious and read reviews because you want to be a cheap ass.

Great monitor graphics are great, but am having to return it because it fails to mention that there is no audio jack or any built in speakers at all. Very disappointing considering it’s a nitro you would expect it to have speakers at the very least. So if you don’t care about having speakers go on ahead and get it it’s great for everything else.
