> 3 dayI would recommend this more for a student, not much of a work station, or a notebook, more like a college campus tool. At first I was impressed, I thought I could have used this to continue to learn coding Python, Java, C, etc... But after a while the limitations became very apparent, yes Linux is available, but limited, most of the things you can download are some what functional, but its definitely not a notebook compression. Before any one shuts this review for the fact that the purpose of this was for internet browsing capabilities, just keep this in mind, remember tablets, yeah, also why would Acer out in hardware comparable to their windows version of the spin 13 in the spin 15 charging a hundred dollar more, wtf? As I can see, Chromebooks are just another tablet in a market saturated with gadgets we dont even need when the phone market has eliminated the need for a internet only tablet aka Chromebooks. Get a real notebook dont make the mistake I did, I am now trying to save up for a real notebook. Google stop making more useless gadgets, all we ask is for a simple laptop that can be used for learning, working, coding at a reasonable price, mind you there are Linux laptops with the same hardware as this spin 13 yet they charge a thousand, why? Google has proven that the prices some of these notebook charge today may not be solely on the hardware but based on licensing, heck theres even a MacBook with the same specs as the spin 13 for thousands. Wished there was a reasonable laptop for people who dont wish to break the bank, and wish to use em for work purposes, if it could be a Linux too, that would be a plus, nothing against windows but window is far too restrictive on letting you mess with it, Chromebook is even worse then Windows not allowing you to do much unless approved by the higher up. FYI dont buy the Acer Spin 13, get the windows version instead, for a hundred dollar more, you can actually use it as a laptop, and with the same hardware too which shows you what a scan Chromebook and windows really are.

> 3 dayI have been looking for a good chromebook for a few months. This one has everything and more. The stylus is an awesome an addition. It loads super fast and the battery life is fantastic! Flips easily into a tablet. Syncs easily with my Samsung S10. Amazing.

> 3 dayIt’s taking time to get accustomed to the operating system. I’m a pc guy, and Windows has always been my system. This is different. But the computer seems nice. I purchased it for the fold over screen and the use of a particular app.

> 3 dayI had researched for a while and seemed all my problems would disappear switching my kid to Chrome book and this Acer laptop. After playing with it and doing the folding and just manipulating it, the thing reset itself. Using it normally and now delicately a few times I noticed fans going wild and some lag. Becuase of remote schooling I wasnt going to go through the song and dance they put you through but my hopes of just working and my life becoming easire were completely dashed. Massive dissapointment, never buying ACER ever again. Then the other thing to note if switching to chromebook for school or a group is.. they will own your laptop, period.. you cannot switch to other accounts or use it for any other functions or apps except what they choose. The argument is its safer and... etc but bottom line is you cannot use it freely yourself for all the other 18 hours a day. Not even creating a seperate account with a password for the paretn or anything logical. Iwished I had just gone to best buy, bought a regualr windows laptop, downloaded chrome and be in control of my hardware while having somewhere / someone to deal with the fact I ofcorse as my luck has it, were sold the lemon... The chromebook constraint problem is not the reason for raitng but the fact i got sold a lemon is

> 3 dayI like this laptop and it’s great for the price. I’ve had it a few months and honestly it was hard for me to get used to because I’ve never owned a chrome book before. I haven’t used it a lot but now that I am because of school I have noticed that the battery life isn’t great. It says 10 hours of battery life but when I’m working on it the battery drains after a couple of hours. Other than that l, the touch screen function is great and the pen that came with it is good. I would be careful and not lose that pen because finding a replacement pen is VERY difficult. All of the off brand pens sold on here do not work with it.

Greater than one weekBeautiful screen, nice keyboard. Fast and smooth. Only thing is that this is slightly heavy so not great for tablet mode. Other than that, its perfect for my home use. I dont travel with it much.

Greater than one weekThe resolution on this Chromebook is horrible. I mean, gray, fuzzy, and outdated. I was flabbergasted. Had to return and spend a little bit more for the Samsung Chromebook 2. Now that’s a nice device!
