Ive been using a pretty old HP student type chrome book for years that will no longer update. The new Acer that I got is crazy fast vs my old unit. Great battery life-like all day of use. Super inexpensive for what Acer delivers.

This is your basic Chromebook. Its my third one and its as expected, except for the sound volume. Ive turned it up to max in the settings but its still hard to hear movies at max volume. Thinking about sending it back .

Battery wont hold a charge. Sent request to Acer. Have not heard back yet. Will not buy again.

You can easily find a chromebook with touchscreen for this price or better. Wish we opened sooner instead of waiting until school. Can no longer return.

Hard to believe that it has nearly been a decade since Google unveiled the Chromebook. It has been one of the most unique computers you could ever get. At times, the chromebook legacy has been still lagging behind the rankings of Windows and Apple. As a result, many people has chosen to step away from considering a Google Chromebook. For myself, it has been a little while since I did purchase a chromebbok that made me feel good when I go online. The last one that I got from Dell 4 years ago, fell flat and simply slowed down so much, that I couldnt surf the web or watch videos when I wanted to. As a result, I had to stop using it for my needs looking for work and wanting to stream music. So, I had to retire it. So when I saw a new Acer Chromebook, it brought me back to when I first got the very first chromebook back in 2011 as a part of the Amazon Vine Community. This is definitely a step in the next level for Google Chrome.

Overall a fantastic laptop with great screen, battery life, and keyboard. The speakers could get loud, but were harsh with voices and lower sounds. The entire body would vibrate and you couldn’t listen to many things without major distortion. Overall if you need the 3:2 ratio screen and a good Chromebook, this is great. Use headphones for audio.

Brought this for my daughter for home school . It works perfect and smoothly for home based school apps we don’t have a lot downloaded and I’ll update if it get slower as we add more apps on it but that’s also common sense as well. It looks bigger in person I’m happy with my purchase . Acer is a good brand I prefer it over HP.

Its a good value. You should know : IT DOES NOT HAVE TOUCH SCREEN ... it has a Touch PAD
