I have wireless devices (keyboard, mouse, headset, camera), extra monitors, etc. that used up my few USB ports. This lightweight adapter has been great. It also allows me to plug in key devices and simply move them from my work to home PC by just moving this small adapter. No issues at all with quality nor speed, even when using all of the ports. Much cheaper than buying new equipment (keyboard and mouse or camera and headset) that worked from a single USB plug.

Bought this product to expand the USB ports on my PS4 so I can keep multiple things connected. Works as intended and no issue thus far. If anything pops up Ill be sure to update my review but so far so good. Definitely recommend for those with psvr headsets.

The problem I have is probably common to all hubs: I tried to safely disconnect it, but with the HDD attached, my Windows 11 would not let me. It said I had an attachment in use, which is true, and refused to safely disconnect. I have ruined 2 or 3 external HDDs in the past this way, so, even though this is an SDD, Im afraid now to disconnect it. Otherwise, the hub works fine.

The 4-port USB expander is just as advertised on Amazon and works well.

The thing works fine on my old Win7 machine, but most of my computers run Linux. The description doesnt say anything about working in Linux, but it is such a simple device and I cant imagine why it doesnt. It could be a flavor issue. I run Ubuntu exclusively. Perhaps the device will function on a different distribution of Linux, but Ill never know.

Good value for a simple device, All I needed was a basic splitter/hub because my new company laptop had fewer ports than the old one. It is working nicely in this regard.
